SONG PICK: RG Lowe – Cover You
While I never heard of Austin-based instrumental band Balmorhea before, I only needed a few seconds into “Cover You” to become completely smitten with the track. Luckily, RG Lowe found his voice, literally. The vocals on “Cover You” are everything I ever wish for in pop-rock vocals. The song itself balances danceable rhythm with slower beats, sports funky bass and guitar lines and the aforementioned alluring vocals – in short, its vibe is glorious!
