Californian singer-songwriter Ynana Rose teamed up with fellow California-based musician Holly Ann Lewis and created the instantly lovable and utterly gorgeous "Simplify." Yep, the song is about easing the burden of an over-busy life, and one doesn't need to be a musician, mother, businesswoman, or wife to be able to relate. We all need a breather, especially these days!

Living in New York City, I ride public transportation, and yet, I know exactly what they mean by the lyric "driving here, driving there, pieces of me everywhere" and feel it very strongly. That's why Ynana and Holly Ann offer the solution "to simplify," supported by lovely steelpan drums sparkles that put you immediately in a more relaxed mood. And so do the soft guitar strumming and the slide guitar pieces by Damon Castillo, who also co-produced and engineered the song. Ynana says about "Simplify:"

"We wanted the vibe to feel like a breath of fresh air. We used congas and steelpan drums to give it an island Americana feel, which felt like the perfect way to invite some lighthearted joy into the process."
