“Uncompleted,” the new single by Irish indie-electronic duo VOIDS, seduces, enchants, and keeps you on your toes at the same time. Just when you thought you could lean back and chill, an unexpected beat change comes along and enhances the listening experience. In short, VOIDS brought brilliantly to life what they set out to do, as Alison McDonnell-White and Andrew Madec explain in their own words:

“We wrote ‘Uncompleted’ about the poignant realisation of missed opportunities and a lingering sense of what could have been – something we’ve all experienced in one form or another. The line “The lights out there are fading, but I’m still burning within” captures this emotion, portraying the fading external prospects against the enduring internal flame and the complexity tied to recognising missed opportunities.”
