VIDEO PICKS OF THE WEEK: Alewya, Cusi Coyllur, Fenne Lily, NZCA LINES

Alewya – Sweating

If the July weather does not get you sweating, this video by London-based singer, songwriter and producer Alewya will. The song is scorching hot and the visuals directed by Jack Bowden remind you what a night at the club looked like. Enjoy!

Cusi Coyllur – Welcome to our War

Shannen Roberts aka Cusi Coyllur‘s new song is about the discord and lack of empathy in the responses to the crisis. The video, choreographed by Alex Floyd, is a self-created masterpiece of visualizing conflicting emotions. Shannen explains:

I was talking to a friend about this and she said it so perfectly, they’re mad from living our life for a couple of months. To have a body that allows you to eat at a restaurant and financially afford it, to not worry about becoming sick, and to not be so sick you had to miss out on many events – that is a privilege.

Fenne Lily – Alapathy

While “Alapathy” gives a deeper glance into Fenne Lily’s mind, the video directed by Benjamin Brook radiates all the carefreeness of a summer day out in town and the woods. Join her and have a good time here:

NZCA LINES – Prisoner of Love

In June, we fell in love with NZCA LINES‘ “Prisoner of Love”, made it a #glamglarepick and are spinning his album that came out in July. Now, almost August, we can add the video for “Prisoner of Love” to the mix. While following quarantine requirements, the video was directed, shot, and edited by Alina Rencier at Bunker Studios in Brooklyn.  The result is an artfully sultry music video, the product of a husband (the musician) and wife (the director) collaboration. We can not wait to see what’s next!
