Vasilikí - Dreamers in the Dark [Video]

"Dreamers in the Dark" is a comforting song, both lyrically and musically, with an unpretentious but catchy pop production. The New York-via-Athens singer/songwriter Vasilikí made a splash with an elegant Modern Talking cover that smoothes the cringe-worthy parts of the original. Her new track comes with an atmospheric black-and-white video (starring a horse!) that visualizes having big dreams while the present appears bleak.

Vasilikí says:

"Dreamers in the Dark" is a track I wrote back in 2021. It's main focus and idea is how a young person's dreams change and evolve once becoming an adult and the uncertainty one can feel trying to navigate life in today's society. Overcoming adversity and heartbreak and accepting vulnerability as something that is beautiful and powerful instead of limiting.
