Tragic Sasha - Die Trying
Sasha Gurney, an indie-pop singer-songwriter and producer from London, makes music as Tragic Sasha, and we’ve been fans ever since we came across “Fishbowl.” Now, she released the drop-dead gorgeous “Die Trying,” in which she muses about pursuing one’s dreams and the pressure that comes with it. Sasha shares the inspiration behind her new, absolutely fabulous single and says:
“‘Die Trying’ is about the idea of success at any cost. I’ve always struggled with comparison and feeling like I’m never where I want to be. I wanted the song to feel this sense of panic, the way I sometimes feel when I think too much.”
