The Zew - The Falcon is a Pretty Bird
The EP Zazel Wants to Fly is dedicated to flight. The opener, "Black Feather," remembers Rossa "Zazel" Richter, who let herself be fired into the air by a cannon in 1877. The last track, our Song Pick of the Day, recognizes the beauty of a soaring bird of prey. The Austrian singer/songwriter Leonie Schlager, aka The Zew, delivers her earthy folk rock with an ethereal twist.
