Kansas City’s The Greeting Committee quickly gets you on the dancefloor and happily stay there with their new absolutely stellar single “popmoneyhits.” The infectious dance track is set over bright synth beats, and silky vocals put you in a state of euphoria and make you feel as if everything is possible. But while the sound is upbeat and sunny, the lyrics offer darker undertones and  a clever commentary on our money equals success-obsessed society:

pop. money. hits.
I want dancing in the dark,
another cheap rip off.
I want everything and nothing all at once.
