Tears For Fears - The Girl That I Call Home
Something brand new from Tears For Fears just dropped, and it is an instant TFF classic! "The Girl That I Call Home" pulls all the strings that Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith knew how to pull all these years. The song is warm, melodious, and instantly likable, and their vocals have not lost their beauty despite the singers' more advanced age. With this single, Tears For Fears also announces their upcoming album Songs For A Nervous Planet, featuring 18 songs from their show at Franklin, TN, while touring the US last year, plus four brand new studio-recorded tracks.
On their Instagram, the Tears For Fears says, “We’ve never released an official live album, so you could say this is an album forty years in the making.” Strangely enough, I never even thought about it. While I love Depeche Mode's 1989 released live album and documentary 101 to pieces, I am not particularly fond of live albums, but this, of course, will be different. It just makes me wish my favorite band had created a live album a long time ago (especially Roland Orzabal during his solo years!) The movie Tears For Fears Live – A Tipping Point Film comes to theaters starting October 24 and October 26.
