Ini Edwards and Rob Sparx, the musicians behind the British electronic dance duo Impure, are about to release a new EP on June 3oth via NexGen music. The album holds five captivating tracks, each a little electronic gem in its own rights.

There is one song though that took my music loving heart by storm, the clever and fascinating “Gin & Ice”. The beats and melody are catchy, the vocals by Luke Rogers enchanting and there is the overall vibe of ice crushing and things clashing – ultra cool and surprisingly unique!

The duo reveals about the track:

“Gin & Ice” is a cold and bitter song about the roles we play in relationships and the trouble that is buried in a shallow grave never far from the surface. It’s uncomfortable presence always close, both held back and easily unmasked with a drink (or three).
