SONG PICK: The Cuckoos - We Can Take A Trip To Another Day (VIDEO)

Strangely enough, we rarely feature any Austin bands but with South by South West just around the corner, why not checking out a Texas band that a friend recommended to me? Turns out,  I did feature that very same band – The Cuckoos – a year ago already because… I truly dig their sound! (“Heartbreak Paradise”)

With their new single and video for “We Can Take A Trip To Another Day” they once again showcase their talent for effortlessly mixing 60s organs with 70s fuzzy guitars and 80s goth rock elements. The video is great fun too thanks to its psychedelic and joyous vibe.
