SONG PICK: The Brothers Koren - Like Water

Change is usually a good thing, especially when it means making things easier without losing anything. Thankfully, Isaac and Thorald Koren ditched their tongue-twister band name Fransancisco and continue to make their beautiful blend of folk-inspired acoustic pop brimming with big harmonies as The Brothers Koren. Ahead of their upcoming album, I Went to the Sea to Be Free, scheduled for June 25th, The Koren Brothers release the irresistibly gorgeous “Like Water.”

When asked about the album, Isaac Koren says:

These songs made beauty from unspeakable loss and weaved gold from the lead in our hearts. We took ourselves on a songwriting journey, starting with a mess of ideas and slowly weaving the threads together, we created a songbook we are proud to share.

We still have the previous singles like “Gold” in our playlist, and also can’t forget the contemplative “What Happens Now” video. Now, we have an album, out via Rockwood Music, to look forward to! Until then, listen to “Like Water,” our Song Pick of the Day:
