SONG PICK: Florence Arman - Naked (Video)
“Naked” is the irresistibly lush and stunning debut of Florence Arman, a young British singer, and songwriter. While “Naked” happens to be the artist’s first single, we were lucky enough to have listened to more of her already and can not wait for everyone to enjoy her work. “Naked” marks the opening track of Florence Arman’s seven-track project, that she worked on together with Austrian producer filous and her brother, Sebastian Arman. I am inclined to state something as bold as “the British answer to the early Billie Eilish” but Florence Arman’s powder-soft and enchanting vocals paired with her artful songwriting maybe don’t need any comparisons. Her debut single together with her upcoming EP make it clear that she holds her own.
When asked about “Naked”, Florence keeps it humorous and offers us a limerick that sums up the song as follows:
“there once was a girl called flo
who had a best friend years ago
but unluckily
he’s a pile of pee
who left without letting her know”
