SOFTCRUSH - Lost Order

We came across New York indie-rockers SOFTCRUSH in the spring of last year and are delighted to find the quartet thriving. This time, SOFTCRUSH’s lead guitarist took on songwriting duties and wrote the atmospheric “Lost Order,” which he and his bandmates recorded beautifully. Asked about their new, vibrant single, frontman Josh Brennan says:

“Lead guitarist, Leonidas Gioutlakis brought ‘Lost Order’ to the band as his first unique composition. Inspired by the sounds of 80’s new wave, Leonidas penned this catchy song, steeped in romance, to the backdrop of chorusy guitars and a driving beat. From our very first show this has been a crucial part of our live set and an undeniable crowd favorite. After getting the chance to really know this song and watch it grow as we performed it around New York City, we knew it was time to bring it to streaming services. This song was self produced by the band, with half being recorded in our lead singer/rhythm guitarist’s bedroom and the other half in our drummer’s home studio.”
