Falling in love is something beautiful, even if your affections are unrequited. “Intention” is a love song to romance in all its complex shapes. The Berlin-raised, London-based singer/songwriter ROSIN lets her song build from tender moments to a big finale until the entire story abruptly ends.
ROSIN explains:
“Intention is about feeling this closeness with someone in the moment but knowing that it won’t be more than that. I found myself wondering how someone can create this intimacy with you, without feeling anything. Although some people might see it as a sad song, as it is about a love that is not reciprocated, I hope that the listener also recognises the beauty of having feelings for someone and how it makes you feel inspired. I loved the song from the start, as it was so personal and really captured that feeling of a crush being so delicate.”
