Prima Queen - Fool

One of my top favorite song releases of 2024 is little luna's "fool," and so I was naturally interested in checking out Prima Queen's equally titled new single. While little luna calls Los Angeles her home, Kristin McFadden (vocals, guitar) moved from Chicago to the U.K. to study in London. Also studying in London, taking the same course as Kristin, was Louise Macphail (vocals, guitar), and the two instantly clicked and formed a band. Luckily, they did because their previously released work and now "Fool" is gorgeous!

Just signed to the Submarine Cat label, the duo says about their first single from their upcoming debut album:

 “‘Fool’ is about loving someone who is anxious, avoidant and grappling with the fact that they’re incapable of giving you the type of love that you need. It’s the song that took us the longest to write - we started it years ago but kept changing the lyrics because it never felt quite finished. It wasn’t until the relationship was over when we finally understood what we were trying to say.”
