The British Music Embassy was back in Austin and once again took quarters at Lattitude 30, a cozy venue that gets equipped with the most modern technology during festival time. Seeing artists perform in that venue and its beautifully lit stage is a great joy in itself yet some of the acts we saw there also managed to delight through their music and their stage presence.

One band that is very high up on this list is SWEAT, a quintet from South London. Listening through Sweat’s songs on Spotify and SoundCloud, I knew I wanted to see them live and they did not disappoint!

Frontman Dante Traynor is a charismatic performer and knows how to captivate the audience and the band’s edgy indie pop songs were beautifully brought to life. This was definitely an inspired and inspiring show  and one I remember fondly. Looking forward to learn what’s up next for SWEAT.
