The track is anything but nostalgic, though, but rooted in a contemporary production with pensive lyrics and a timeless, mesmerizing vibe. Asked about "A Place on Earth," frontman Simon Kent says:
"We wanted to create something sharp, urgent, and full of energy - taking inspiration from Bowie’s "Fashion" but making it our own. It’s a song about finding your place in a chaotic world."
