Madisine - Holy Hand
As much as it makes me happy to feature young artists from New York, it especially pleases me to feature someone from Europe, like, for example, Italy. Madisine is based in Bologna, and after a flurry of solid single releases, he dropped the spectacular "Holy Hand." Equipped with great vocals and an undeniable talent for songwriting, Madisine's "Holy Hand" sits vibe-wise somewhere between Incubus' 2001 Morning View and Bush's 1999 The Science of Things. I absolutely love it! Asked what "Holy Hands" is about, Madisine says:
"This song is dedicated to my great-grandmother. It was written shortly after her passing. It’s a song about strength and admiration. The album artwork is the last drawing she did for my mother."
