Linying - Blondie

Everything feels right in this moment – the person and the scenery are perfect. However, Linying feels weighed down because she feels that she is not being honest. We don't know how the story ends, but an element of overthinking may be involved. In any case, the LA-via-Singapore made a beautifully lighthearted song about this episode, which evokes the sun glittering on the water where it takes place.

“It’s about a beautiful, idyllic day I spent swimming in a lagoon with someone I’d just met. I felt so happy and light, but at the same time there was a part of me that kept thinking, ‘I’m not actually this light. You don’t know who I really am.’”
