Jenny Newman - Mother’s Porcelain

In the fall of 2022, Jenny Newman delighted us with her lighthearted summer fling “Danish Boy.” Her new song, “Mother’s Porcelain,” shows us the other side of love: when certain traits of a partner make it hard to stay together. Jenny goes for a 90s grunge vibe with the song, but I also hear the melancholy of 80s The Cure in it.
