J. Bernardt - Taxi [Video]

J. Bernardt, aka Jinte Deprez, and maybe best known as one half of Belgian indie-rock duo Balthazar, is about to release his second studio album. Titled Contigo is due on May 17 via Play It Again Sam. In tandem with that announcement, J. Bernardt released two singles from the album, the sweeping “Matter of Time” and the irresistibly vibrant “Taxi,” accompanied by a compelling video. We decided to feature the beautifully vibrant and oh-so-catchy “Taxi.” About the album, J. Bernhart says:

“I know a break-up record is a cliché,” says Deprez. “But I’m growing to love cliches! I wasn’t afraid to go all the way. Forgetting about the break-up by singing about it is like self-sabotage, but I’m having fun with it too”.
