hemlocke springs - enknee1

Isimeme Naomi Udu, aka hemlocke springs, makes songs as catchy and glittering as pop music can be but then she pushes them over the edge to make them cool again. We don’t know what the title, “enknee1,” stands for, but the line “Anyone out there to love me?” should resonate with everybody in dark moments of self-pity.

Naomi says:

“I started the song last December. I went through a tough period where I truly disliked myself and wondered if anyone would accept me and love me for who I am. In hindsight, I was a little dramatic (haha!) and cliché…nevertheless it made for a great song, one I finished AGAIN after a ANOTHER emotional period!”
