Goddess - Shadows (ft. Ex:Re)
Goddess is the new project by Savages drummer Fay Milton. The self-titled first album, out on May 30 via Bella Union, features a different singer for each track. The first single, the haunting "Shadows," is perfect for the vocals of Ex:Re, the solo project of the Daughter singer Elena Tonra.
Fay says about the song:
“What I love about this track is that it's got this darkness and lightness at the same time. It's got this real thunder and lightning energy. There’s a sparkly piano, very light and delicate, and then this noise bass that runs through it. Elena’s vocal is just completely exquisite, as well as her lyrics.”
