Glasser - Vine

Glasser

“Vine” is airy and fresh, like a walk through the forest on a spring day. In the 90s, you would associate music like this with Björk, who since then has left the realm of simply beautiful music. Cameron Mesirow, aka Glasser, lays down many different sounds, from fantasy bird calls over tribal drums to sweeping strings, to build an immersive sonic experience.

“Vine” is from the Glasser’s upcoming third album crux – the first in ten years and the first on One Little Independent, Björk’s long-time label.

Cameron says:

“‘Vine’ was written a long time ago. It was like an attempt at making something where all the parts sound like they're very separated. I was thinking like jazz, actually. It was about getting back to writing music after feeling a bit disconnected from the machinery around making it your profession”.
