The new Glasser album crux – judging from the four already released songs – is a glistening, soaring affair. While the album deals with many aspects of the human experience, including loss, it musically emphasizes resilience and healing.

The fourth single, “Easy,” adds a sing-along quality to the New York musician’s experimental pop and might be a song to put on in the morning to get you in a bright mood.

Glasser explains:

“[‘Easy’ was] written about Noah, my first love who died. And I wrote it in like 10 minutes. And it was about a dream that we were in the same place, and it was a very playful dream. And felt like finally some kind of return to some of the good feelings around knowing someone despite their end.”
