Glass House Point - Circling

Glass House Point - Circling

Indie-rockers Glass House Point from Florida have been making music together from a very young age, but it looks like they're lately starting through fully. Listening to their brand new single "Circling," I could imagine finding it as a bonus track on Genessis' 1974 studio album A Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, was it not for this mesmerizing zingy vibe that evokes Radiohead's 1997 Ok Computer. So, I listened to other works by Glass House Point and am looking forward to more to come.

I had asked the band's guitarist, Dylan Methot whether he could tell us a little more about "Circling," and he kindly got back to us. Fun tidbit: there are two Dylans in Glass House Point, both play guitar brillliantly but only one is the band's singer. Dylan Methot says:

"Finally, 'Circling' is OUT NOW… This song has had a very weird existence for us… just sitting in our back pocket since 2022. For a long time we didn’t know how to release it… then Dylan blew out his voice belting it on tour… the song’s theme almost felt like it was reflective of where we were at as a band (which was not a good thing lol). Since last year, we’ve completely changed our creative process and have produced more music than we have in all of our 10 years of being a band… This is the year we get to share what we are capable of, and we hope you can find some meaning and value in what we’re creating."
