Frankie Flowers - HEX

Even if you, like me, are not familiar with the word "limerence" – "the intoxicating yet uncertain space between love and longing" – "HEX" gives you a good impression of what it is about. The Canadian singer/songwriter Frankie Flowers uses heavy, dark wave synth lines to show the ups and downs of emotions in that specific state of mind.

Frankie explains:

"'HEX' is about limerence in relationships—the disorienting feeling of being emotionally drawn to someone but unsure if the connection is real or imagined. You’re in that liminal space, craving answers that never seem to come."
