Eden Rain - Palo Alto
The London singer/songwriter Eden Rain has never been to Palo Alto, and the song is actually not about the Silicon Valley city. It is about how people can spoil memories. “Palo Alto” shows Eden again from her quieter side when she muses about taking revenge on the person who robbed her of her favorite things.
She says:
“I wrote this song about the unfairness of having things that you like ruined by people you don’t like. How something that you love can turn into something that just reminds you of a person, and you wish you could also ruin that special thing or place they love for them. This song was written by Jack and I on a writing trip in the Yorkshire dales, which thankfully is a place no-one has ruined for me yet…”
