PHOTOS: Dilly Dally returns to Baby’s All Right
Not too long ago, we saw Dilly Dally at the Brooklyn Vegan CMJ day party, at a time when we could use the energy this Canadian band dispenses on stage. Last Saturday we went to the same location at night time to see them again at Baby’s All Right, after opening sets by Turf Durt and LVL UP.
The thing with Dilly Dally is that it is hard to take your eyes (and ears) off singer/guitarist Katie Monks: she is an utterly charismatic performer, which is fascinating and strangely at odds with the unique way she growls her songs.
Guitarist Liz Ball on the other hand seems so immersed in her guitar play that it comes at a surprise that she was quite chatty in her parting words on stage and later at the merch table.
