Crush - Where Flowers Grow (Video)
It’s been a while since Crush‘s debut album Sugarcoat (2018) and follow-up EP Sundown (2020), but the five-piece is back with a new single, the lush and magnificent “Where Flowers Grow.” With this track, the Austrian indie-pop band announces their new album Past Perfect, due out in May 2023. With the beautifully dreamy “Where Flowers Grow,” Crush “encourage stuck minds to acknowledge the phantom pain of restlessness and follow the impulse for movement and action in togetherness, with energetic baby steps.”
The single is accompanied by a great music video filmed and directed by Gabriel Hyden. We see the five band members traversing the Austrian mountains, searching for something as well as performing in a studio, clad all in innocent white. Definitely check out the vibrant clip! We also asked Crush about the video, and they say:
“This is our first music video with a storyline, which we have always been hesitant about, but we think it turned out great! We are so happy with how Gabriel Hyden’s vision perfectly fits the vibe of the song. Also, we love the fantastic aspect of it – a monster on a jagged mountain leading the way!”
