Courteeners - Sweet Surrender (feat. Brooke Combe)

British indie-rockers Courteeners are gearing up to release a new album, and "Sweet Surrender" is the third drop from it. It is a beautifully vibrant song featuring long-time live member Brooke Combe on backing vocals and delights with a comforting, guitar-driven, welcoming vibe. Pink Cactus Café marks Courteener's seventh studio album, scheduled for October 25 via Ignition Records. The album sees frontman Liam Fray co-producing and also featuring musician friends on various tracks. The already released singles "Pink Cactus Café" and "Solitude Of The Night Bus" promise an optimistic, more pop-oriented album, and I am especially eager to listen to track number five, "The Beginning of the End." This song features The DMA'S, a band whose music I've been following since 2016, yet strangely enough, I've never known about (The) Courteeners until today.
