Con - Untied

Con - Untied

“Don’t Look back because I left you behind.” London-based artist CON sings in her debut single “Untied.” The song is a classic breakup story, not only with a person but also with her own restricting beliefs. CON, née Constance Bowes, currently studies at the international arts university BIMM, where she crafts a timeless and eclectic blend of jazz and funk.

CON gives us some background about her debut release:

This song is about succeeding on your own and leaving the people behind who hold you back. I went through a tough time when I fell out with a friend and struggled with the fear and anxiety of moving forward without them. I lacked confidence in my music so was even more worried about working with James Berkeley as I had no previous experience working with a producer when I went into the session. However, we collaborated to create this fun, dancey, funky summer song. It not only surpassed my expectations but also boosted my confidence. I can officially say that I am so proud of this song.
