Cillë - Champagne!
“Champagne!” Celebrating female friendships is the reason for Cecilie Maria Nielsen aka Cillë to pop a bottle. For her latest song, the NYC-via-Denmark singer/songwriter enlisted Kelsey Warran of Blak Emoji as a producer to guide her music into a new direction: funky guitars and danceable beats turn the track an exuberant, summerly celebration of life.
Cecilie explains:
“Good songs transcend genre. It’s important to me that I honor the song, even when it means redefining myself as an artist. As I keep releasing—and there’s more coming—I trust that it will all eventually make sense. I’m done holding back!”
