Charlie Cunningham - Shape Of Tomorrow

London-based singer-songwriter Charlie Cunningham provides a fresh perspective with his gorgeous new single "Shape Of Tomorrow." The song can be found on his fourth album In Light, which is available now. While I had heard of this artist's name before, I didn't really know his music or any of his fascinating story, but Charlie Cunningham serves as inspiration that a lot is possible if you put your mind to it. Charlie earned a music degree despite his dyslexia, and by his mid-twenties, he was working a variety of odd jobs while writing songs in his free time. Later he moved to Seville in Spain where he immersed himself for three years in flamenco music. Upon his return to the UK, he started out playing cover songs in bars, mixed in with his own songs, before focusing fully on his own songwriting. About the background to "Shape Of Tomorrow" Charlie says:
"This song explores the struggle for control, battling against external pressures and seeking strength in uncertainty. It looks at the fight for a sense of identity and the resistance to forces that threaten to take it away."
