When I listened to "watercolour," the new song by Finnish singer/songwriter Carla Aakre, I loved it from the spot. With its warm, fuzzy feeling, it reminded me of the beautiful quality of British singer/songwriter Fenne Lilly, whom Oliver and I are huge fans of. Of course, that's a very personal reference, but it made me listen more closely and ultimately feature the artist and her new song. As someone who loves to paint and is currently exploring the world of watercolors, the song spoke to me in many ways. Carla says about her newest work:

“‘watercolour’ is an ode to friendship. Sometimes you need someone to remind you of the beauty around you. With the help of friendship, even in difficult moments, you can find something you want to cherish.”
