Amber Run - The Beautiful Victorious

An album titled How To Be Human (out this Spring) might be either a last-minute idea or something really profound, and it is clearly the latter when Amber Run‘s frontman Joe Keogh says:

“You know those annoying emails you get that are like, ‘How to become a millionaire in one month’. ‘How to get abs in six seconds. I was like, I wish someone would just tell me how to get by and live on the centre line and how to just continue.”

That’s pretty existentialist, and together with his bandmates Tomas Sperring (bass) and Henry Wyeth (keys), Joe has created an album that ponders life’s big questions. The vibrant and joyous “The Beautiful Victorious” marks the second cut from the upcoming album, and the band says about the single:

“Just to be here at all is a victory – to be able to give yourself to another person and to be comfortable with where you are.”
