Glasser - Om
NYC singer and producer Cameron Mesirow, aka Glasser released her third album crux, last fall and follows up with a deluxe version with six more songs this September. Such a deep dive into an artist’s work is typically a treat for superfans; however, the first single, “Om,” suggests that Cameron thinks more of a sequel. The ethereal, cinematic track connects to the theme of the original album and makes you curious about what else she has still hidden on her hard disk.
Cameron explains:
“Om is a track that I wrote when I was bursting with new songs after the death of my friend Noah, my first love from back home died suddenly and I watched his burial on Zoom. He showed me so many first things in life, and he was the first close person to me to die, that I felt so mentally, physically, and emotionally connected to.”
