Julia-Sophie – wishful thinking
Acclaimed Anglo-French avant-garde Electronic Pop artist Julia-Sophie dropped the gorgeous “wishful thinking” ahead of the release of her album forgive too slowout this Friday. This last single makes the waiting time almost unbearably hard, but as of now, we can count down the hours until the album’s release, and then we can enjoy the entire thing while kicking off the weekend – maybe while nursing a drink!
Asked about the track, Julia-Sophie says:
“Wishful Thinking is about loving someone so deeply but realising that loving them isn’t enough. I know I’m not an easy person to be with, and loving me causes hurt, so sometimes I have to let someone go in order to stop hurting them. Once I’m alone, I’m left with the question: why is it so hard for me to love freely?”
