SONG PICK: Hannah Robinson – The Well
“The Well” puts together thoughtful poetry and epic, melodic rock music. For that English singer/songwriter Hannah Robinson has put together an impressive group of accomplished musicians that help to create a timeless sonic experience. The inspiration for the lyrics came from the book “The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle” by Haruki Murikami and the desire to say more with less. Hannah explains:
“I was curious to see if I could create a feeling and a narrative in this song using fewer words. I liked trying something more lyrically concise, I feel it made me especially selective with the words I chose.”
