SONG PICK: Tedadore – Dancing With Another
Based in Nashville, Ted Hartog creates catchy electro-pop under the moniker Tedadore and his new single “Dancing With Another” might very well be his finest work to date. We feel the importance and significance of the lively track. It also offers the vibe and irresistible swagger that we came to love from The Killers.
We asked Ted about some insight to “Dancing With Another” and he explains:
In early quarantine, I spent most of every day in my room working on music and the songs that came out, whether happy or sad, were urgent. I felt like speeding down the highway, screaming the words to this song with the windows down, hoping they would reach someone that I couldn’t reach any other way. This song is a result of the frustration that comes from thinking, managing, mulling over, and eventually getting fed up with the gap between your expectation and reality. Put simply, it’s an “I miss you” song, but I’m frantic instead of sad.
