“Whatever It Is” grows from a quiet acoustic song into something like a big rock anthem and on the way Loyal Lobos spends so much musical creativity that one can only look forward to her upcoming album “Everlasting,” due out August 7. Behind Loyal Lobos is Andrea Silva, who moved from Colombia to Las Angeles. She gives us some background about the song:

“Whatever It Is” is a song about a new love. Meeting someone when you’re in the dark and learning to accept and experience new things without a traditional romantic narrative, and finding new excitement in things that seemed dull before.”
