Amsterdam artist Stephanie Smit aka Giek_1 has a mesmerizing video for “Closure” from her EP “ESCAPE”, collection of sprawling ethereal soundscapes.
“ESCAPE” is about escaping reality, not wanting to face the real world because of what it might reveal about oneself.
Escaping from the conflict and struggle. Escaping the destruction. But perhaps this destruction is caused by all of this escapism.

Houses of Heaven – Dissolve The Floor
California-based electronic three-piece Houses of Heaven release a video to their dance-floor ready single “Dissolve The Floor”, out on felte records. Singer/guitarist/keyboardist Keven Tecon says about the track:
“The visible economic and social disparities in San Francisco create the illusion of parallel worlds, which gives living in the city a painfully surreal quality. “Dissolve the Floor” depicts a moment in two people’s lives when the false veil of separation is lifted and their worlds suddenly become one. By combining projected and three-dimensional images, the video takes the idea of parallel existence into abstract territory inspired by classic sci-fi and horror films.”

London-based singer/songwriter Joulie Fox is having it, breaks free from expectations and has fun with it as you can see in her light-hearted video “Fire In My Lungs”. She says about the song:
I realised there will always be someone telling me how to live my life. And I found my freedom. I don’t have to please everyone because this is probably the only life I live here on earth and I wanna live it on my terms.

Los Angeles-based artist Thunder Jackson enlists MTV Music Video Award-nominated director Dano Cerney direct the atmospheric video for Find Yourself”. We love it! The artist about his song:
