SONG PICK: Emmeline – Superheroes

“We gonna be superheroes,” is the hopeful message of Dallas-based singer/songwriter Emmeline. “Let the villains make their headlines,” she sings, but in the end the good forces will prevail. To make its point, the song starts with a piano, but then swells to a grand, cinematic finale and it is hard to walk away without some feeling of empowerment.

“Superheroes” is the first single off Emmeline’s new album “RISE”, to be released on March 15.
