SONG PICK: DUETS AND STUFF – Already Gone
While trying to learn a bit more about Swedish duo DUETS AND STUFF, comprised of Greta and Raimond, one statement in their “About Page” made me laugh out loud because their super dreamy single “Already Gone” would not give away something so, how shall I put, it substantial. The answer to “Band Interests” is a simple and hearty “Pizza, Beer and Music”, which a lot of people can definitely relate to. And as airy and chill “Already Gone” is, it is also seriously catchy with its solid drum beats and 80s synthesizer vibe. Lyrically, the single deals with the feeling of hopelessness when a relationship is about to break.
