SONG PICK: Nightseason – Dying In The Heat
In sync with the lyrical context, “Dying In The Heat” starts out wistfully and stays that way until the end, but not before the scorching guitar solo. What makes the new track by Nightseason standout, is its sparse instrumentation, with super rad beats, giving room to the raspy-charming vocals of Jordan Caiola who together with drummer-turned-producer Patrick Zeinali forms duo Nightseason.
Taken from their forthcoming EP, the duo explains about their new single:
“‘Dying In The Heat’ is about getting caught up in the routine of a relationship. It’s about how much people will give just to remain in their comfortable routine of a relationship even though it may not be worth it in the end and leaving for someone who will appreciate and value them more might be the better option.”
