SONG PICK: UV – Defender
UV is the stage name of Marina Elderton’s musical project. Her day job is not far way from that: she’s an acclaimed composer based in London and has created award-winning film scores.
Marina’s debut track as UV, “Defender” is a haunting, solitary piece, held together by a steady electric guitar line and the vulnerability of her vocals. “I am your Defender,” she sings and she is serious about it.
