glamglare picks for Northside Festival 2018

Northside Festival celebrates its 10th birthday, which alone is already quite an accomplishment. Congrats! While some things have evolved and changed over time, like for example there is no longer a film part, or free shows at McCarren Park, there is still a rather impressive Innovation conference going on, and of course awesome music!

With having curated an exciting official showcase at this year’s SXSW, glamglare decided to not curate a showcase at this year’s Northside Festival, yet we are looking forward to seeing as many live shows as we can possibly squeeze in.

Some of our favs, who we’ve booked in the past as well, are playing the festival: Birch, Def.GRLS, and  shadowmonster.

Also, whenever there’s an opportunity to see some of our long time favs like Eaters or Negative Gemini live, we’ll be there! But what would a music festival be without discoveries? Hence, we put new to us acts in there too.

Find more information about the bands HERE and the venues and set times HERE.

Here is our very personal selection of acts we are planning to catch live. Please say ‘hi’ if you see us.
