SONG PICK: Kyyn – Arabesque
Here is a new one by L.A. via NYC singer/producer Kyyn. “Arabesque” is inspired by French composer Debussy’s “Deux Arabesques” as well as by Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, a play which I happened to have seen a few times. “There’s no real concept of time during this midsummer night with no clear direction of what was going to happen. It’s a beautiful type of chaos,” Kyyn quotes and that is a good way to describe this beautifully floating piece of pop music.
