SONG PICK: Fifi Rong – Awake (EP Announcement)
Our Song Pick of the Day has a wonderful flow with its smooth synth lines and almost whispered vocals, like the stream of consciousness in the state between being awake and asleep. “Awake” is the title track of the upcoming 4-track EP by London-based singer/producer Fifi Rong, due out next Friday. She explains about the track:
Awake is about waking up to the truth after you have hypnotised yourself and deconstructing the paradoxes of human nature: subordination and rebellion, pain and joy, self-limitation and liberation.
Fifi also supplements her music with stunning visuals, be it on stage or in videos. Stay tuned about news in that regard.
